This Privacy Policy explains how PAPERJUNKIEZ ("we," "us," "our") handles information when you visit our site, browse drops, place an order, file a package-protection claim, or sign up for drop alerts. By using the site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Contact details — your email address when you place an order, join drop alerts, create an account, or file a claim.
- Order & shipping details — name, shipping address, the items and run numbers you order, order totals, and ship status.
- Package-protection claims — the order number, tracking number, a description of the issue, and any photos you attach.
- Payment information — when card payments go live, they are processed by our payment processor (Square). We do not see or store your full card number.
- Device & usage data — basic technical information your browser sends (such as IP address and browser type) and information stored on your device to run the site (see our Cookie Policy).
How we use your information
- Process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and send confirmations and tracking.
- Send drop alerts and updates you asked for (you can opt out any time).
- Review and resolve package-protection claims.
- Enforce per-buyer limits and prevent fraud or abuse of limited runs.
- Operate, secure, and improve the site.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the store, and only as needed:
- Google Cloud — hosting, database, file storage, and (if you create an account) sign-in.
- Square — payment processing, once card payments are live.
- Google reCAPTCHA — invisible bot/fraud protection on drops and checkout; collects device and usage signals per Google's Privacy Policy.
- Shipping carriers and, if you add it, our package-protection provider, to deliver orders and handle claims.
- Legal — when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Data retention
We keep order and claim records as long as needed to run the business and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to remove your drop-alert email at any time.
Your choices & rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and unsubscribe from drop alerts at any time. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights. To make a request, email hello@paperjunkiez.comand we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Purchases require you to be at least 18 or the age of majority where you live.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy as the store grows (for example, when card payments or a package-protection provider go live). We'll post the new version here with an updated date.
